DESCRIPTION:More than a decade into the body camera era, sheriffs’ of
 fices across the United States are using artificial intelligence (AI) to u
 nlock their true potential. Combined, these two powerful technologies can 
 identify details, surface officer safety risks, and deliver real-time insi
 ghts, when they matter most. As body cameras transform, evolving from afte
 r-action archival tools into always-on intelligence systems, sheriffs need
  to be prepared for what comes next.\n\n\nThis session offers a practical 
 overview of the suite of AI tools already in use by law enforcement across
  the country. We will share findings from recent pilot programs that have 
 uncovered evidence, enhanced officer professionalism, and improved governm
 ent efficiency. We will also examine the risks of overreliance on AI, usin
