How do your personnel make decisions? Have you provided them with a systematic approach or is decision-making in your organization dependent on who is making the decision and when they’re making it? Hastily made or poorly thought-out decisions can have dramatic and permanent consequences. And this is never more true than with decisions that have an ethical component to them. Many law enforcement personnel have never been taught how to make a decision and what needs to be considered in the decision-making process. In this presentation, Gordon Graham will present a 10-step process to help personnel make better, ethically sound decisions. Attendees will learn how to evaluate situations to factor time, organizational policy, past practice, individual skillset and more – then act appropriately to address the issue.
PRESENTER: Gordon Graham, Co-Founder, Lexipol and Risk Management Expert
