The ANSI National Accreditation Board (ANAB) is the largest multi-disciplinary ISO/IEC 17011 accreditation body in North America offering the law enforcement community confidence in your organization’s ability to maintain the integrity of property and evidence control units. This integrity is crucial to the successful administration of justice and to maintain public trust. ANAB's new accreditation program for property and evidence control units provides your organization with a roadmap for reducing risk and ensuring greater accountability, and a benchmark to measure competency. ANAB is a signatory of the International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (ILAC) and International Accreditation Forum (IAF) multilateral recognition arrangements. ANAB accredits management systems and product certification bodies, calibration and testing laboratories, personnel credentialing organizations, forensic service providers, inspection bodies, validation and verification bodies, reference material producers, and proficiency test providers. ANAB is a wholly owned subsidiary of the American National Standards Institute (ANSI).
