Deputy Director First Responder Mental Wellness - National Peer Support Network
Jennifer Hull is a highly experienced law enforcement professional with over 23 years of service in the field. A former Staff Sergeant with a local Sheriff’s Department, Jennifer brings a wealth of knowledge and practical experience to her work. Her career includes not only frontline law enforcement but also valuable dispatch experience, which has rounded out her understanding of the diverse challenges faced by first responders. In addition to her extensive background in law enforcement, Jennifer serves on Michigan’s Line of Duty Death (LODD) team, offering support to officers and their families during the most difficult times following the death of an officer in the line of duty. This role underscores her deep commitment to the safety and well-being of those who serve the public. In addition to her hands-on work in law enforcement, Jennifer has shared her expertise as an educator, teaching at local colleges and universities imparting her knowledge to the next generation of aspiring officers and public safety professionals. Currently, Jennifer works with The National Peer Support Network, an organization dedicated to supporting the mental health and wellness of first responders. Through her work at the NPSN, she advocates for mental health resources and programs tailored to the unique needs of those who serve in high-stress environments, aiming to reduce the stigma around mental health issues in the first responder community. With a lifelong commitment to public safety, education, and mental health advocacy, Jennifer Hull continues to make a meaningful impact in the lives of first responders across the United States and the communities they protect.
