Lieutenant Don Christman is a law enforcement professional with more than 30 years of service. He is currently serving as a lieutenant with the St. Lucie County, Florida, Sheriff’s Office. In this role, he supervises the Training, Armory, and Body Camera Division and oversees training standards, instructor development, the agency’s armory and weapons systems, body-worn camera operations, and compliance with Florida Department of Law Enforcement requirements. His leadership has strengthened agency readiness and advanced modern training systems for both sworn and civilian personnel. Lieutenant Christman is recognized as an expert witness regarding police use of force, non-escalation/de-escalation tactics, and active shooter response. He specializes in training law enforcement and military personnel throughout the country. From tactical operations to courtroom expertise and agencywide training leadership, Lieutenant Christman’s career reflects a blend of technical skill, strategic insight, and tireless dedication to public safety.
