
Tina Barton
Co-Chair - Committee for Safe and Secure Elections
Tina Barton is a Senior Election Expert with The Elections Group, bringing over 32 years of distinguished service in government at the federal, county, and municipal levels. For the past two decades, her professional focus has been dedicated to election administration. Ms. Barton is a graduate of Liberty University. She has earned a Master of Arts in Management and Leadership, and a Bachelor of Business Administration. She currently serves as Co-Chair of the Committee for Safe and Secure Elections, a cross-partisan coalition of election administration and law enforcement professionals committed to advancing policies and practices that safeguard election workers and voters from violence, threats, and intimidation. Prior to her current role, Ms. Barton served as Senior Program Advisor to the Executive Director of the U.S. Election Assistance Commission (EAC). She presently continues her engagement with the EAC as a member of the Board of Advisors, appointed by the U.S. Conference of Mayors. Before joining the EAC, Ms. Barton served for eight years as the City Clerk of Rochester Hills, Michigan. Beyond her professional accomplishments, Ms. Barton has been married to her husband, Mark, for over 34 years. She is also a devoted mother and proud grandmother.
