The Armored Group, LLC (TAG) is a United States based company who has been designing, manufacturing, armoring, and customizing both armored and non-armored specialty vehicles since 1992. TAG’s first order was to build Cash-In-Transit (CIT) trucks, and since that early beginning TAG has grown to now operate production facilities in several strategic locations around the globe; United States, Toronto (Canada) , United Arab Emirates (UAE), Germany, Oman and Lebanon. Not only does TAG have a global presence, but we have expanded our manufacturing capabilities to include custom vehicle engineering of varying scope and scale including; armor integration packages (to customer specifications for ballistic and blast levels), vehicle retrofit/refurbishment, C5ISR provisions, generator and power packages, full mobile communication packages, performance enhancements, law enforcement requirements, certified air-transportability, surveillance towers and weapon integration packages. TAG has produced thousands of specialty vehicles for many organizations, including many divisions of the U.S. Federal Government and U.S. Armed Forces, United Nations, dignitaries, heads of states, and law enforcement agencies around the world.
