Captain Christopher Gandia (Ret.) is a senior research associate with the Institute for Intergovernmental Research and a retired captain from the Londonderry, New Hampshire Police Department. With over 25 years in law enforcement and 29 years in finance, his dual background has shaped a unique career in public safety and fiscal strategy. He most recently served as division commander for the Manchester-Boston Regional Airport. Captain Gandia’s experience includes roles in patrol, SWAT, and leadership positions involving budgeting, auditing, and organizational development. A former auditor with PricewaterhouseCoopers and financial analyst with Zoom Telephonics, he holds a BS in Accountancy from Providence College, a financial planning certificate from Merrimack College, and has been a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ since 2003.
