Chief Deputy - Kent County Sheriff's Office

Lyndsie is the Chief Deputy at the Kent County Sheriff’s Office, promoted in May 2022 after over 20 years of service. She previously served as Captain and Jail Administrator, bringing deep experience in corrections, operations, and leadership. Starting her career in 2003, she spent eight years in the classification division, where she developed the training manual and mentored staff. Rising through the ranks, Lyndsie led initiatives in field training, work release, indigent defense, and technology improvements. A graduate of the National Jail Leadership Command Academy and MCOLES-certified, she serves on multiple advisory boards focused on justice and reentry initiatives. Outside of work, she enjoys the outdoors with her husband, son, and two Labradors.
