
Dr. Michel Sucher, DFASAM

Dr. Sucher earned his BS (1968) and MD (1972) from Wayne State University, completing his internship at Sinai Hospital and residency at Indiana University Medical Center. He practiced emergency medicine for 20 years, serving as emergency department director and medical staff president at Honor Health facilities in Scottsdale, AZ. Specializing in addiction medicine, Dr. Sucher has led numerous physician health programs across Arizona, California, and Nevada, currently serving as Medical Director of the Nevada Professionals Recovery Network and senior medical director for Community Bridges, Inc. He founded Arizona’s first Addiction Medicine Fellowship in 2018 and has held leadership roles at Meadows Behavioral Healthcare and Community Medical Services, including overseeing opioid treatment programs. With extensive consulting, teaching, and leadership experience, Dr. Sucher is a Distinguished Fellow of the American Society of Addiction Medicine, certified by the American Board of Addiction Medicine, and a nationally recognized speaker. He also held executive roles at Rural/Metro Corporation, managing medical operations and international business units.
